Three Little Birds

Three Little Birds is a family-owned boutique child care centre, caring for 72 children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. The centre is made up of three homes nestled in the leafy suburb of Chatswood, providing a warm and nurturing environment for children and their families. We welcome families from Chatswood, Artarmon and surrounding Lower North Shore suburbs.

PHILOSOPHY

We value early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning. We aim to provide an environment that is home-like, nurturing, stimulating and safe for all our children and families.

We strive to provide holistic support for each child's individual needs and interests to promote growth across all developmental domains. Each child is respected as a unique, competent and capable individual with their own needs, experiences, abilities and interests.​

OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

In Australia, early childhood services are assessed against the National Quality Standard, which covers seven quality areas, from educational programs and children's health and safety to partnerships with families and leadership. At Three Little Birds, quality is in the everyday details.

Children learn in six small, age-based classrooms, so our educators can get to know each child and plan around their stage of development and interests.

Our team includes four Early Childhood Teachers, and many of our educators have been with us for years, so children are cared for by familiar faces. Meet our educators.

Meals are prepared in-house, and our daily fees include nappies, sunscreen, bamboo sheets and weekly sport and music classes. See our fees.

We keep a Quality Improvement Plan covering all seven quality areas, and families are invited to share their feedback on it. If you are enrolled or considering enrolling, you are welcome to ask to see it.​​​​
